Hello, I hope everyone had a great weekend. They go to fast for my liking!
Today I have made a very quick Wedding Card for a colleague at work. But I think it is quite classy!
I used Pearlescent Card stock in cream for the card base. Embossed a dotty design on the same card stock and matted it on gold. Die cut a butterfly and swirly leaf and a label, then added a sentiment and bow. Voila!

Emma Canning's Image
This card has a winter them "Let it Snow". I used one of Emma's digi images, coloured with Promarkers. I matted it on torn white textured paper and then on blue dotty. Cut out some snowflakes from my Spellbinder's dies, inked them with distress inks and added a sentiment.
Thanksgiving
I thought I would make some Thanksgiving Cards for my American Customers that come
into the Brit Shop, where I work on the base we are stationed in Germany. This card has been
made with the Spellbinder's Lattice die and Close to My Heart Stamps.

Spellbinder Butterflies
I received my new Spellbinder dies in the post yesterday and thought I would have a play with the
new background Botanical Swirls die. It took me a few attempts to get it right! Definitely need to use
greaseproof/wax paper and put it through the Grand Calibur a couple of times to cut it all the way
through. You have to trim all around the edge to release the die cut portions. I then matted it on some shinning brown cardstock, from my crafty stash! Again matted on some turquoise cardstock and then
mounted it on to a light turquoise card 5 x 7". Die cut two sets of butterflies in brown and turquoise using the brown embossed butterflies at the bottom and turquoise ones on the top, added some pearls,
made a bow using brown organzer ribbon and die cut a label and stamped a sentiment and added some more pearls. Voila!

Now this card is made with an image from Jane Shasky's CD rom, one of Joanna Sheen's creations.
Then mounted onto turquoise card stock. Put four brads in each of the corners. Embossed two A6 sheets of white textured cardstock with a Tim Holtz embossing folder (wood effect), but them into strips to give a garden gate effect. Distressed the pieces with Pumice Stone distressing ink pad, adhered to more turquoise cardstock and mounted onto an A5 card. Cut one swirly leaf die, cut in half and put behind the main image. Joanna Sheen sent me an email and said she loved it!
