Digi Chooseday - Fashion Divas

For this week's challenge it is Fashion Divas.  So I thought Fashion Divas love shopping! So I decided to make a gift bag using a plain white paper bag. I chose on of Emma Canning's digi images called Christmas Shopping  which I coloured with Promarkers and Graph'it markers and used a backing paper from Owl always love you digi bundle and a heart from Lulu Ladybug digi bundle (available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk) I matted the backing paper on red and black cardstock, tied a ribbon around it, and printed out the word Shopping and coloured that in too.  So here is my "Love Shopping" gift bag.

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything but a card

This weeks challenge - has been great fun as I have been making all kinds of gifts for a Craft Fair that we are having on base.  I was fortunate to find some wooden trays in a cheap store which I thought I could alter.  So, I painted the tray white then used papers, embellishments and digi images from the Home for Christmas CD Rom  to decorate the tray.  It is an ideal size for a Cookie Tray to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve....

Digi Chooseday - Anything goes

Well, I am excited to announce that I have been chosen to be on another Design Team, called Digi Chooseday for Polkadoodles to post and promote the lovely digi bundles on the www.polkadoodles.co.uk website.  To I am using one of Emma Canning's images called "All Lit Up" which I coloured with Graph'it markers and cut the image out.  I then chose a backing paper and embellishment trees and sentiment from the Christmas Joy digi bundle. Matted onto brown cardstock and card base.  There she is.  I think this sassy card will be going to one of my lovely Step Granddaughters this Christmas.

Creative Moments Challenge - Rainbow Bright

Hi once again,  when I was choosing my October images for Creative Moments, I was excited when I saw this image from Sassy Studio.  I just had to have this one as my daughter Amy (who is nearly 30) loved Rainbow Bright when she was little and had a Rainbow Bright Themed Bedroom! and I knitted her a jumper with her on it and when she had grown out of it, she was crushed when she saw I was trying to sell it at a Car Boot!  So this is for you Amy, I made this for you!  I coloured her with my Promarkers, cut her out and then thought it would be nice to make a rainbow out of all my rainbow coloured cardstock.  So here she is!

Creative Moments Challenge - Mr. Barn Owl

Hello there, sorry I haven't been around for a couple of weeks, been very busy with work and crafting, making items for a local Craft Fair.  So I should have posted this last week on here as it was our Creative Moment's challenge.  This is a wonderful image from Delicious Doodles which I have coloured with Graph'it markers and then used pan pastels around the edge. Mounted him on a Spellbinder's die, added authentic leaves and then matted him onto an embossed bark effect cardstock and then used a darker pan pastel to bring out the grain of the wood. Matted that onto dark brown cardstock and then onto a Kraft card. I didn't add a sentiment as I didn't think it needed it.

More Crafty Makes

Here is two altered trays I picked up at a local store for a couple of euros. I used papers and embellishments and digi images from the Home for Christmas CD Rom. Love how they have turned out.

Crafty Makes

I am getting ready to do a Craft Fair in a couple of weeks and decided to decorate some plain white paper bags into some lovely Gift Bags.  I used a lot of my crafty stash that had been sitting around for a long time, so I put it to good use.  Hope you like them.

Halloween Bag

Hello folks from wet and windy Germany - Today I have made a Halloween Trick or Treat Goodie Bag with two digi images that I have had for a couple of years now. I coloured them both with Graph'it makers and Promarkers. Sat him on a fence from the Pretty Tuff CD Rom (Polkadoodles)
die cut a moon and some grass. Mounted it on a backing paper from one of the Halloween Collections from (Polkadoodles) matted it on black cardstock and then added a spiders web border around the image. Made a tag and added Halloween on the Moon. That is it. I will submit this into Graph'it markers challenge this week.
