Get Well Soon!

Hello Ladies,

It's Friday Yay! and Polkadoodles DT Challenge - this week it is Stitching and Lace. So here is my
card.  The image is Mr.Bunny in his Pjs from Cherry Blossom Lane CD Rom. The dotty background is from the Picknix 1 CD Rom and then the duvet and pillow is a background paper from Cherry Blossom Lane printed on textured paper which gives it a material look. Finished it off with faux stitiching, gingham ribbon and three sentiments from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD Rom.

My Lady

Here is a card I made today using an image I found in my scrap box.  I really can't remember where I got her from but I think she is beautiful.  I added faux fur to her collar, liquid pearls to her head dress. Liquid accents to the flowers and some gold glitter pen to her eye makeup and bands on her head dress. I just love it! I used Spellbinders dies for the background, gold miri card and pearlescent white card stock.

Hi This is an image from Emma Canning which I love. I coloured the image with Promarkers and cut her out. I used one of the toppers from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD and cut out the roses. Attached them to a Spellbinders Fancy Label then adhered that to one of the stripey papers from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD.

First Attempt at colouring Sepia Tones

Hi, after watching my new DVD - Colour Therapy by Nikky Hall of Polkadoodles, I was inspired to do some colouring using the Sepia Tones.  I stamped the image from the No. 5 Pen & Paper Magazine/CD Rom and coloured her in.  I am really quite please how she turned out seeing it was my first time! I also used the papers from the Pen & Paper CD Rom to mount the image on and use as backing papers. Added lace around the frame, a button and pearls to finish it off.

DT Challenge for January 2013

This is my card using "Taylor" as an angel. I cut her out and adhered her with Pinflair 3D glue on to two oval scalloped dies from Sizzix. Cut out a large scalloped circle die using the Grand Scalloped Circles from Spellbinders on blue star paper. Backed them on some stripy card stock from my crafty stash and put three pearls in each of the corners. Of course I added a lot of fine glitter on her wings and dress and headress.

"Sorry you are feeling Under the Weather!"

Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope you all had a great Christmas, I certainly did! I had lots of crafting goodies from my lovely family and can't wait to use them all!

I had to make a couple of cards yesterday for my Design Team Challenges and this one I loved the most I think!  Firstly I cut an aperture/window using a die from Tonic in my embossed dotty cardstock. Then I stamped the scene on the card, coloured it in using Promarkers. Embossed a piece of acetate which looks like rain on the window panes. Used one of Emma Canning's digi images and coloured it in with Promarkers adhered it to the front using Pinflair glue, matted and layered the topper using pale blue and navy cardstock. Cut a label using a Spellbinder's die and adhered a sentiment that I printed from my computer "Sorry you are feeling under the weather".
