Flatfriends DT Challenge - April STITCHING - faux or real

Hi there folks from snowy Germany! I know it is Easter Sunday and it is snowing!!! thank goodness it isn't settling.

I made this card using one of Emma Cannings Images, now available on a CD Rom from www.polkadoodles.co.uk or you can buy the individual image.  I coloured her with my new Graph It Markers, which I love. I find them easier to blend and the colours are more vibrant.

I cut the image out using a Spellbinders die and to matt and layer the image. I faux stiched  around the edges using a fine tip marker and white gel pen.  I found a lovely piece of patchwork paper in my crafty stash and matt and layerd it on black and faux stitched around that also. Cut out another fancy die from Spellbinders and where the die left tiny holes I used my marker to go around the edge again to look like it was stiched. Used a sentiment from one of my Polkadoodle CD roms added a polka dot ribbon and it was finished. Hope you like it x

Hi there from another snowy day in Germany.  Here I have made a couple of cards using the Time for Tea images available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk. They are fab and great to colour in. What do you think?

Mother's Day Cards - Spellbinders

Hi there folks.  Here are a couple of cards I have made for Mother's Day with Spellbinder Dies.
I love how they have turned out, don't you?  I think I will have to give the blue one to my Mum as it is my favourite.

It is also time for Flatfriends Challenge. This month's challenge is "To die for". So I made this card using one of Emma Canning's images, I coloured her with promarkers and cut her out. I made an aperture in a piece of embossed Centura pearl white card using a window die from Tonic. I embossed a piece of acetate which made it look like pouring rain and adhered it to the window pane. I stamped and coloured the background of the window, using a Tonic Stamp and adhered to the aperture. Matted and layered the background on black cardstock. Printed a saying "Sorry you are feeling under the weather and cut it out using another Spellbinder die.

It's Friday again and another Polkadoodle Design Team Challenge. This week our team had to to do layers of red and pink. So I used the new Cherry Blossom CD Rom from Polkadoodles and chose my image and papers from there. I printed my bunny in the umbrella image and cut around it, mounted it on an embossed Spellbinders die, inked around the edges and then matted and layered the papers in red cardstock and made a background.  Then added a sentiment.

Hello Ladies,

It's Friday Yay! and Polkadoodles DT Challenge - this week it is Stitching and Lace. So here is my
card.  The image is Mr.Bunny in his Pjs from Cherry Blossom Lane CD Rom. The dotty background is from the Picknix 1 CD Rom and then the duvet and pillow is a background paper from Cherry Blossom Lane printed on textured paper which gives it a material look. Finished it off with faux stitiching, gingham ribbon and three sentiments from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD Rom.

Here is a card I made today using an image I found in my scrap box.  I really can't remember where I got her from but I think she is beautiful.  I added faux fur to her collar, liquid pearls to her head dress. Liquid accents to the flowers and some gold glitter pen to her eye makeup and bands on her head dress. I just love it! I used Spellbinders dies for the background, gold miri card and pearlescent white card stock.
