I coloured the little girl and pumpkin using Graph'it and Promarkers. Then made a stepper card out of black cardstock matted the steps and back ground with purple cardstock, inked the edges, and there you have it!

Creative Moments Challenge - Frame It

Hi there everyone.  This weeks challenge for Creative Moments is "Frame it".  I loved this frame, I know Thanksgiving is a long way off, but I love Autumn, Pumpkins and crispy cold mornings and the leaves turning red, orange, yellow and brown.  I coloured the pumpkins with my Promarkers and lightly dusted the background with panpastels. Added a sentiment,  leaves, hessian ribbon and an dotty embossed background.

My Gingerbread House

Hello everyone, today I have been playing with the new Polkadoodles CD Rom called "Home for Christmas which is available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk.  This is a fantastic CD Rom with so much on it. The papers, embellishments, digi stamps, houses are all fab and all my favourite.  Here is a little wooden bird house, which is my Gingerbread House which I covered with papers and embellishments and characters from the CD Rom.  This will be a present for eldest daughter who has just moved into a new house with her boyfriend and will be spending Christmas together for the first time. Hope you like it.

One for theBoys - Polkadoodles Challenge

This week's challenge is "one for the boys" - so I used my Pretty Tuff CD Rom from www.polkadoodles.co.uk. I printed off two backing papers and one digi image of Dylan and coloured him in using my Graph'it markers. Matted and layered the papers on red cardstock, wrapped around some twine and added a sentiment.

Backgrounds

Backgrounds -  I used five pan pastel colours to create this lovely background.  Phalto Blue, Turquoise Shade, Neutral Grey, Magenta and Yellow Orchid. I had different sponges for each colour and added the colours, starting with blue, then magenta etc. I did two 4 x 6 pieces of card the same and stamped a Stampin Up image on one, cut it out with a circle die
and matted onto another Spellbinders scalloped circle. I then matted the other piece on black and adhered the image to the card and card blank. I then die cut a butterfly and sentiment and used the pan pastels in the same way. A very simple but effective card.

Now this background is done using Graph'it markers.  Their challenge this week is backgrounds.
So I used the following pens : 7125,7105,6130,6120,4155,4110. I started with the darker shade and blended them down until I was happy with the result. I coloured two pieces of 4 x 6 and stamped an image from Stampin Up on to one of them and then cut it with a circle die. Cut out a Spellbinder scalloped circle in black and matted the image to it. The other piece I matted on back and adhered it to a scalloped white card. I stamped a sentiment and then cut out a butterfly and coloured it the same way.  I don't know which card I like the best do you?

I have entered this card in the Graph'it Marker Challenge : http://graphitmarkers.blogspot.com

First Time at Colouring Dark Skin

I wanted to make a card for my friends little girl who will be One at the end of this month.  I chose a
digi image from Mo Manning and thought I give it a go at colouring in.  I watched a you tube demo on colouring dark skin using Spectrum Noir pens, I don't have Spectrum Noir, I have Graph'it and Promarkers.  So I picked 4 markers from my Graph'it 4110 4115 3120 and 3210 and then slowly built up the colour.  I am pleased how it turned out, What do you think?

Head Girl

This is a special order made for a colleague - I used digi images from Pretty Tuff and Fredericka CD Roms available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk.  I coloured  Fredericka with Flexmarkers.
